It is required by the U.S. Department of State that Exchange Visitors have sufficient insurance coverage throughout their stay in the U.S. You may obtain coverage through your own health insurance provider in your home country. Please make sure that all the following benefits are included:
Health and Accident Coverage $ 100,000
Medical Evacuation Benefit $ 50,000
Repatriation of Remains Benefit $ 25,000
Deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness

Attention! Please enter the following dates as the insurance duration: The starting date should be your day of entry into the U.S. and the ending date should be 30 days after the end of your internship.
Regardless of whether you secure health insurance through a privately chosen provider or through Global Secutive, please attach an insurance confirmation to your application, which details your name, the terms of the coverage, and the exact dates of validity (it should be valid from the day of entry into the U.S. until 30 days after the end of the internship).
